Condition:
Both sealed within their modern carved and gilded frames, and not examined unframed. Overall condition appears very good. Pigments and paper fresh and strong throughout. Summer: one light brown mark in sky, left of centre. Surface scratch towards top left corner; slight unevenness in the paper towards the top edge, from old hinging and mounting Winter: one very light brown stain in the right hand cottage roof; some unevenness in the paper towards the top edge, from old hinging and mounting
